Ashley Sherwood – Controller

Ashley Sherwood has over 15 years of finance and accounting experience starting in public accounting with RSM and holding various roles in corporate controllership with small and large multi-national organizations.

Prior to joining AArete, her most recent role was with RR Donnelley where she was the Director of Corporate Accounting and Reporting in the Corporate Controller’s Group. At AArete, her team is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions as well as the monthly close and subsidiary consolidation with heavy involvement in financial and regulatory compliance. 

Ashley’s strengths include technical accounting, financial analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement.  Ashley is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from The University of Iowa.
