Ashley Sherwood – Vice President
& Controller

Ashley Sherwood is responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions as well as the monthly close and subsidiary consolidation, financial and regulatory compliance as well as risk management. In her time at AArete, her team has focused heavily on systems integration and process improvement to be able to serve as a key strategic partner, driving the company’s financial performance and business growth through data-driven decisions and efficient financial management. Before joining AArete, Ashley’s career started in public accounting with RSM and then included various roles in corporate controllership with small and large multi-national organizations. Ashley’s strengths include technical accounting, financial analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement. Ashley is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from The University of Iowa.
