Mari Zag – Director

Mari Zag brings more than 25 years of executive-level leadership experience in Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) from risk-bearing, integrated large health systems to smaller start-up IPAs and medical groups. Her areas of expertise include medical management, total cost of care analytics, utilization management, care management, network contracting, value-based contracting, and compliance. She led teams toward highly efficient performance and quality by applying analytics, reporting, and evidence-based medical outcomes.

Mari holds a Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree from The University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Health & Biochemistry from Pennsylvania State University. She was also a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator for over 30 years, has written published chapters and articles on wellness and self-management of chronic disease, and has been serving on the Board of Directors for the Partners in Care Foundation since 2008.
